Suzuki Marine
La Conner Maritime is an authorized Suzuki Marine dealer. We can help with your parts, service or complete repower needs. We have trained technicians and specialized software and tools for diagnostic and repair purposes.
If you are exploring the idea of converting your inboard gas powered boat to efficient and reliable outboard power, we can help! Our in-house mechanical, fiberglass and metal fabrication capabilities make us a one-stop shop.
Our skilled technicians can perform the necessary fiberglass modifications needing to be done, and build a sturdy outboard bracket to mount the motor on. Using CAD software and our CNC router, this bracket can be custom designed and built to fit your boat, and include features such as additional flotation and swim platform space, to make getting on and off your boat easier. This is just one more way La Conner Maritime helps make your boating experience more safe, fun and reliable on the water.
Bow and Stern Thrusters
La Conner Maritime Service is experienced in bow and stern thruster installations. We perform many of these each year on a variety of boats, from aluminum trailer boats to 50’+ trawler yachts. Whether you’re looking for electric or hydraulic, we can help. Most of the thrusters we install are Side Power, but we also install other brands.
Fin-type Roll Stabilizer Systems
If your boat is equipped with fin-type roll stabilizers, La Conner Maritime can help! We commonly service Naiad, Wesmar, Key Power/Kobelt and other brands of stabilizers, and have specialized tools and training to help with this. We have also installed many of these systems, including CMC electric stabilizers.
Running Gear
Your props and propeller shafting is an integral part of your boat’s propulsion system and needs to be kept in good running order. Our skilled technicians employ a variety of specialized pullers and other tools to safely inspect, remove and reinstall components of your running gear system. Whether a routine cutlass bearing replacement, engine alignment, or prop and shaft pull and reinstall, we can help ensure your vessel is running smooth and vibration-free.
We also install and service traditional packing and dripless shaft seals, such as Tides or PSS/PYI.
La Conner Maritime is also experienced in repairing and servicing rudders and rudder seals. We have also helped improve vessel handling with modifications to existing rudders. If you are frustrated with your boat’s handling, we may be able to help. Whether it’s adding or removing a slight amount of material from one portion of your rudder to maintain the correct “balance,” or adding an articulating rudder, easier handling and docking can be a reality for you and your vessel.
